What started as a "hobby," has grown into a multi-million dollar business.  This year, Bordeaux Wine Locators, Inc. is celebrating its 20-yr anniversary!  Andy Lench, our founder, established the company in 1987.

$100 spent to purchase three bottles of 1975 Mouton Rothschild (yes, it was many years ago) turned out to be seed money for what would later become Bordeaux Wine Locators, Inc. Mr. Lench combined his sales skills, a passion for wine,and business acumen acquired in a previous enterprise to launch Bordeaux Wine Locators out of the basement of his home.  He and his wife were the company's first employees.  Today, the company employs 28 people at its home base in Tumwater, Washington.  A core group of employees with 10 or more years of service to the company form the nucleus for our growth. Bordeaux Wine Locators has grown significantly in the last few years, expanding its sales, marketing, information technology, and data entry functions.
